About Banana Leaves 
 
One of my largest paintings, the original measured approx. 36” x 41".  
 
The banana plant grew in my front yard when I lived in Holualoa in mauka Kona, above Kailua town.
 
I used to trip out on how the light caught on the leaves, creating beautiful patterns and color. No, I was not high...well maybe a little! After all, this was Kona!
