About Butterflies & Bamboo
 
This is a grove of structural bamboo that grew down the road from me in South Kona on the Big Island.
 
Bamboo is one of the most rapidly renewable resources on the planet. This species grows up to 50 feet high with a 6-inch diameter!
 
I took artistic license and added some tropical butterflies that are not native to Hawaii, just for fun.
