About Mango Moons
 
In this painting I wanted to convey the sensuous promise of tree-ripened Haden mangoes. So juicy that you must stand over the kitchen sink so the mango juice drips onto your face and down your arms. 

Haden's are the most coveted mangoes in Hawaii and easily weigh 16 to 24 ounces! Oh, and after you've finished eating the mango, sucking seed in Hawaii is really a thing. Just google it!
