About Zen Bamboo
 
I wanted to capture the mystery that I felt was in this structural bamboo grove. The bamboo was so dense and dark in the center of the grove. There was a stillness...as if it knew something I didn't. 
 
I wondered what critters lived in there. This bamboo variety can grow to 6" in diameter. The bamboo is an orangey-yellow color with beautiful green stripes.
